# Migrating a Cisco 7821 from Enterprise to MPP firmware (Webex Developer MPP Licenses)

1. Go to <https://admin.webex.com> in your browser

2. Enter the admin user email and click 'Sign In'

2. Click on 'Updates and Migrations' under the 'Services' tab

3. Click 'Get started' under the 'Migrate Enterprise Phones...' tab

4. Click the 'Start New Task' button

5. Enter a name for the task, and ensure that 'Generate device license only' is selected in the 'Migration option' dropdown

If you don't change the migration option, the phones will attempt to register to Webex       Calling when migrated.

6. Download this file and open it

7. Enter the model (Cisco 7821) and MAC address of each phone you wish to migrate and save the .csv file

As the 7821 here is a V01 (not a V03 or V04), I'm using an 8845 to show this process.

You can upload a maximum of 1000 devices here at a time. Need to add more? You'll have to create multiple tasks.

8. Upload the file, ensure the upload status shows the number of devices you added to the list, and click next

9. Once all devices have been verified, click 'Prepare for Migration'

10. Ensure you are generating licenses for the number of devices you are migrating and click 'Ok'

11. Wait for the status to turn to 'Ready for migration'

12. Go to <https://upgrade.cisco.com> in your web browser

12. Click on 'Enterprise -> MPP (for BroadWorks/Other 3PCC)

13. Scroll down to 'Run Migration' and click on 'Manual migration (Lab/PoC/Several devices)'

14. Note the IP address provided
